Probably you just wanna stick to the facts… My name is Vladimir Tsvetkov. I’m Bulgarian, living in Sofia, Bulgaria and I’m a partner and a software engineer for the company of Obecto - a company focused on building human-centered Rich Internet Applications. I’m also a graduate student at the Sofia University, still working on my MS in Software Engineering.
Enough facts!
It’s not difficult for me to explain my fascination about computers, especially the fascination of the personal computers I’ve had. They’ve been and still are an appendage to my mind. They’ve stored, processed and distributed some of my thoughts and doubts. They’ve amplified my mental abilities. They’ve entertained me and connected me to the most special people in my life… and still I realize that by now their potential is far from being reached. In addition to the nice time I’m having with computers frustration often occurs, as you imagine, so I’m also a source of huge criticism on the current state of personal computers.
In addition to my interests in personal computing, I’ve always been involved in sports. 8 years from my life I spent on the ice-rink as a figure skater, and another 10 years as a short track speed skater. Now, I no longer do active skating and competing. I just prefer the calm atmosphere of an Aikido dodjo.
