When I started this blog six months ago I haven’t expected I’ll quit my job and be part of a startup right now. Moreover, I had no serious reasons to quit my current position in Gugga, except for the growing feeling that I need to find ways to unleash the creativity and initiative power sleeping inside me, and to pursuit the cause I strongly believe in - improving human computer interaction.
Change
It gets to a point in life, where a man should decide, whether he’s going to pursuit his dreams or leave it to the mundane inertia and play it “safe”. There were no signs that I’ve got to this point, but I must say my partner Todor was just about there. His decision to descent to the “deep, dark canyons of uncertainty and ambiguity” and his desire to “walk the breathtaking highlands of success” inspired me to act. Not to postpone, but to act - right now and right here.

I’m recognizing a great business opportunity for Obecto to create and shape an amazing new company, but I’m also seeing a great personal opportunity to develop my character, to learn new things and have the fulfilling experience of being an entrepreneur. Month ago I decided to do my best to make this happen.
…and oh boy things are happening really fast
Almost a month since Todor and I took our decisions and you can already see the results of the efforts taken by us and Obecto’s associates. We gave the birth of our corporate web site. To my opinion, the design is simplistic, but yet elegant. I’ll leave to you the comments. Every feedback matters, so please don’t hesitate.

Some words about technology
Our site is written in Flex and it uses Papervision3D. For everyone interested, the code of the site is going to be published soon. Right now, we’re too embarrassed to share the stuff we wrote so quickly late in the night (both of us are for four more days on a payroll at Gugga) and just don’t want to leave you with a bad impressions.
A chance to thank
I want to thank Gugga and to all my colleagues there. These 3 years I learned a lot from you guys. Keep up with the good work!
